Product Description

An all time favorite, the 200 Cells Mid-Pipes for the 986 Boxster, our Mid-Pipes will open up the exhaust flow, get rid of those restrictive factory mid-pipes and enjoy more power and better sound.

For the 97-99 2.5L Boxster only , these 200 Cells Mid-Pipes will not fit with the factory Exhaust Headers, in order to install these 200 Cells Mid-Pipes you must purchase the  986 Exhaust Headers

For the 00-04 2.7L/3.2L Boxster , these 200 cells Mid-Pipes replace the restrictive factory catalytic converters, but this will not affect the ecu since that the secondary cats are not monitored by the ECU.

The  Exhaust 200 Cells Mid-Pipes are built with Tri-Metal High Quality 200 Cells Catalytic Cartridges coated with rhodium/palladium/platinum, made with T-304 Stainless Steel, Mandrel Bend 50mm piping and heat shields that are clamped on and not welded on avoiding any rattling issues caused normally by heat shields. Designed to replace the factory Catalytic Converters Mid-Pipes on the 1997-2004 Porsche Boxster 2.5L, 2.7L and Boxster S 3.2L. You will retain the factory configuration and your vehicle will pass emissions. You can expect improved high end power. 

They have been designed to fit with factory primary headers and factory muffler on the 2.7L and 3.2L (Please see note above for the 2.5L Boxster), so even if you change the mid-pipes only and retain the rest of the factory exhaust these will fit, gaskets and hardware are included. For fitment with other aftermarket exhaust part, we cannot guarantee perfect fitment, if your aftermarket exhaust parts use the same flanges as the factory flanges chances are that these will fit with your aftermarket exhaust. We only guarantee fitment with OEM exhaust parts and our Exhaust Parts. 

The OEM factory Mid-Pipes with Catalytic Converters are very restrictive and may cause loss of performance. These Mid-Pipes have a larger piping diameter, the outside diameter is 50mm versus 40mm diameter on the stock mid-pipes and they are fitted with less restrictive 200 Cells Catalytic Converters. 

Our Mid-Pipes quality and fitment is superior versus the competition, we have the correct shape and bending, they aren't simply bent in L shape they follow the factory bending.

Replacement with the  Mid-Pipes will improve engine power by approx 10HP at the wheels.
