Returns Policy

Returns must be made at the original point of sale within 14 days of receipt of merchandise.

Software  that has been installed and or used to read out a car or to install a Tuned or Original file may not be returned. The cable that is shipped is  a software key and if used will be considered consent of such software use and locked to the car and not returnable.  Use of the software in its installation and agreeing to the "Terms and Conditions " when installing it is also is clarified as use and not returnable. Products returned must be in salable condition.
 
Custom designed, engineered  or special order products are NON-RETURNABLE. These types of goods are also exempt from being returned. Installed parts , any stickers or stencils, modified parts are not accepted under any circumstances.   Return freight and other shipping charges are the customer's responsibility.

Please note that all Speed Technologies exhaust systems, Soul Performance Exhaust and Plenum kits can take 3-4 weeks for delivery as they are custom made and all orders can not be cancelled once placed.


No returns will be accepted on or after 15 days (no exceptions). 
 
If you need to return an item, you must call Softronic  within 14 days and get Return Authorization number  (RAN).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

The above return policy applies to purchases directly from SOFTRONIC. SOFTRONIC dealers may have their own return policies for their customers.
 
Note: All Sale items and or any Special or Promotion in which the product has been reduced in price are final and NO Returns are allowed.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
 
 

General Information on Cable and flashing use

 Once you connect your cable to the car and lock the VIN to it, there is NO REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS, or RETURNS. The files used are good working files as used with our tuning developers. This software and its associated hardware will allow you to re-program your ECU with an altered calibration. By doing this, you assume any risks and responsibility that may come with reading and writing to the car if the directions are not followed. This calibration may not be emissions or DOT certified and is intended for OFF-ROAD and/or RACE use only! If you are concerned with your warranty or emissions laws, we suggest you consult the proper entities before going further. 

 
Softronic ECU Terms
We fully support our products, as well as the system, processes, and procedures that have been tested on many platforms for 1000s of customers worldwide. If you do not follow the instructions on SoftronicSoftware.com or the instructions that are emailed to you when you receive your new file, you risk the possibility of damaging the ECU. We cannot control issues pertaining to customers internet connections, computer abilities, other laptop programs, corporate security, etc. If you encounter errors and would like advice on what that error is caused by, you can email Info@SoftronicSoftware.com.

Once the Softronic Flash Cable is plugged into your OBDII port and you read out the cars stock file, the cable is then locked to your VIN and cannot be returned. There is NO WARRANTY on Softronic ECU Flashes. All files are good working files that have been rigorously tested and used in cars worldwide. Please understand that mechanical issues, improper performance part combinations, not following the directions are not our responsibility. 
 

Software changes after Purchase

Softronic sells  headers and other products and request that people buy the products we sell from us and want a change to a file that was already made. This would especially apply to people that have not purchased either product from us as the file can be sold with the car yet we do not extend the same privileges.  All our files are made to emissions specifications and do not allow for catless headers unless requested and then labeled as RACE while all emissions files are labeled WE. The Race file will NOT pass emissions yet is only for OFF Road or Race cars so that the customer can still monitor the CEL for proper function with all other systems. All requested revisions for files such as headers that had not been purchased from Softronics will be $300 and must utilize our latest flashing unit we are using.

We still have a $500 fee that applies to Turbo only changes that are related to different turbos and more custom work.
